Cohesion Phenomics was founded in 2013 as a diagnostic laboratory specializing in inherited cardiovascular disease. More than a decade working at the intersection of genetics, cardiology, laboratory medicine and reimbursement taught us that delivering a genetic test is only one part of delivering effective cardiovascular genetics care.

Today, we bring that experience to cardiovascular programs as a strategic partner.

Our experience in diagnostic testing gave us a unique view of the complete cardiovascular genetics journey, not only from the laboratory perspective, but from the perspectives of physicians, patients, genetic counselors, health systems and payers.

It became clear that many of the greatest barriers to effective cardiovascular genetics occur outside the laboratory.

OUR EXPERIENCE

More than a decade of Cardiovascular Genetics Experience

Since 2013, Cohesion Phenomics has worked exclusively within inherited cardiovascular disease and the systems required to support genetic care.

Our experience spans cardiomyopathies, inherited arrhythmias, aortopathies and other hereditary cardiovascular conditions, giving us insight into the clinical, laboratory, operational and reimbursement challenges these programs face.

That experience allows us to approach cardiovascular genetics differently. Not as an isolated test, but as a clinical service that must function within the realities of cardiovascular care.

Why We Changed

Cohesion Phenomics began with diagnostic genetic testing because we believed patients with inherited cardiovascular disease deserved accurate, clinically meaningful answers.

That commitment has not changed.

What changed was our understanding of what it takes to deliver those answers effectively.

We saw firsthand how fragmented workflows, reimbursement barriers, limited genetics expertise, staffing constraints and disconnected clinical processes could prevent genetic information from reaching its full value.

That experience led us beyond the laboratory.
